On Sunday, 23 August 2015, in the afternoon at 15:10, in Kaunas, on Nuokalnės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525 and a Mercedes-Benz E 320 CDI. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
