BMW runs off the road on the Vilnius–Panevėžys road
On Friday, 4 September 2015, in the evening at 20:09, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 43), a BMW 320 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
