On Saturday, 26 September 2015, at night at 3:05, in Biržų district municipality, on Kęstučio street, at the junction with Pasvalio street, at a gas station, an Audi A4 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
