On Tuesday, 6 October 2015, in the evening at 17:15, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street, at the junction with Gimnazijos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Alhambra and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Seat (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
