On Monday, 9 November 2015, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. near No. 18, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi Q5 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Audi Q5, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (0.80‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
