On Sunday, 22 November 2015, in the evening at 19:45, in Kaunas, on A. Mickevičiaus street, at the junction with Karaliaus Mindaugo pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Dodge Grand Caravan and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Dodge (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
