On Thursday, 24 May 2018, in the afternoon at 11:20, in Kaunas, on Karaliaus Mindaugo pr., at the junction with A. Mickevičiaus street, a BMW hit an obstacle. Two people were injured — a 18-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 16-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
