On Friday, 4 December 2015, at night at 1:05, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street near No. 29, an Audi A4 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Audi (2 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
