On Tuesday, 24 November 2015, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 150B, a car hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of a car (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
