On Wednesday, 3 March 2021, in the evening at 22:20, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 150B, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a BMW 330D and a Piaggio NSL. One person was injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Piaggio (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
