On Wednesday, 9 December 2015, in the morning at 10:10, in Telšių district municipality, Mataičių village, on the Ramučiai–Vidsodis–Luokė regional road (kilometre 19), a Ford Mondeo hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
