On Saturday, 12 December 2015, in the evening at around 20:00, in Kaunas, on Jurbarko street, at the junction with A. Kriščiukaičio street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.54‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
