On Sunday, 13 December 2015, in the evening at 18:20, in Kaunas, on Apuolės street, at the junction with Josvainių street, an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Audi (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (2.08‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
