On Monday, 14 December 2015, in the evening at 18:44, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Kaišiadorys–Stasiūnai–Triliškės regional road (kilometre 0.85), a Chrysler Grand Voyager hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 39-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Chrysler (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
