On Thursday, 17 December 2015, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 150, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 528 and a Renault Clio. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 81-year-old driver of the BMW (53 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
