On Saturday, 19 December 2015, in the evening at 21:40, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl. near No. 186A, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 730 and a Renault Twingo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
