On Friday, 12 July 2019, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl. near No. 186A, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70 and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Volvo (11 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
