On Sunday, 20 December 2015, in the evening at 17:35, in Kaunas, on Šv. Gertrūdos street, at the junction with Gimnazijos street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Solaris Trollino 12 and a Toyota Land Cruiser. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Solaris (5 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
