On Thursday, 14 November 2019, in the afternoon at 13:15, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Pramonės pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
