On Wednesday, 23 December 2015, in the morning at 7:55, in Kauno city municipality, on P. Lukšio street, at the junction with V. Ladsbergio-Žemkalnio street, a Toyota RAV4 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 16-year-old pedestrian (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Toyota (39 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
