On Wednesday, 2 September 2015, in the morning at 7:32, in Kaunas, on V. Landsbergio-Žemkalnio street, at the junction with P. Lukšio street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Skoda 14 TR and an Opel Astra. One person was injured — a 59-year-old passenger of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction and failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
