On Thursday, 24 December 2015, at night at around 2:00, in Utenos district municipality, on the Gečiai–Kuktiškės–Tauragnai regional road (kilometre 25.15), a Volkswagen Passat rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.12‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
