On Monday, 10 May 2021, in the evening at 17:45, in Utenos district municipality, Tauragnų village, on Kuktiškių street, a Mitsubishi Pajero rolled over. Two people were injured — a 21-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 19-year-old passenger of the Mitsubishi (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
