On Saturday, 26 December 2015, in the evening at 21:29, in Šiauliai, on Vytauto street near No. 134, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen Berlingo and a BMW 525. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Citroen (38 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (1.25‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
