On Saturday, 9 January 2016, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Kaunas, on Lakūnų pl., at the junction with Skudučių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Zafira and a Mitsubishi Carisma. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel (16 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
