On Monday, 11 January 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Varnių street near No. 51, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Seat Altea XL and a Renault Twingo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Seat (6 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
