On Thursday, 28 January 2016, at night at around 2:00, in Kaunas, on Vytenio street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Mercedes-Benz C180. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
