On Thursday, 28 January 2016, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on A. Baranausko street, at the junction with Radvilėnų pl., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra-B-Caravan and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
