On Sunday, 31 January 2016, in the evening at 17:24, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Vėžionys–Dainava–Pabarė–Butrimonys regional road (kilometre 21.30), a Volvo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volvo (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.50‰ blood alcohol).
