On Saturday, 13 February 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Europos pr. near No. 43, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Toyota Corolla Verso hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Toyota (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.51‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
