On Friday, 19 February 2016, in the afternoon at 11:20, in Šilutės district municipality, on Vytauto street near No. 2, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Clio and a Toyota Corolla. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Renault (16 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene.
