On Monday, 22 February 2016, in the morning at 7:45, in Kaunas, on Tilto street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz 413 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
