On Wednesday, 24 February 2016, in the evening at 17:30, in Šiauliai, on Architektų street, at the junction with J. Jablonskio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence.
