On Sunday, 20 March 2016, at night at around 3:00, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 58, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 626 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Mazda, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
