On Monday, 28 March 2016, in the evening at 20:15, in Kaunas, on Sukilėlių pr., at the junction with Lazūnų street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V40, a Ford Mondeo and a Toyota Avensis. One person was injured — the 26-year-old driver of the Toyota (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Volvo, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
