On Monday, 4 April 2016, in the afternoon at 16:55, in Šilutės district municipality, Ciparių village, on the Žemaičių Naumiestis–Teneniai–Pajūralis regional road (kilometre 1.10), a Kymco rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Kymco, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.63‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
