On Friday, 8 April 2016, in the afternoon at 16:55, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kauno HE–Garliava national road (kilometre 6.80), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 525, an Opel Astra and a Volkswagen LT 35.
