On Monday, 9 May 2016, in the afternoon at 11:56, in Vilnius, on Tūkstantmečio street, at the junction with Savanorių pr., on a bridge, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Sharan, a ZIL 4333 and a Volvo FH. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (32 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober.
