On Saturday, 14 May 2016, in the morning at 8:15, in Vilnius, on Tūkstantmečio street, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a Mitsubishi Space Wagon ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (13 years of driving experience), who was driving fatigued and fell asleep at the wheel. He was drunk (2.02‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
