On Tuesday, 10 May 2016, at night at around 23:00, in Kaunas, on Baltijos street near No. 5A, a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a bicycle. One person was injured — a 22-year-old cyclist (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
