On Saturday, 14 May 2016, in the afternoon at 14:20, in Švenčionių district municipality, on Vilniaus street near No. 37, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Peugeot 607. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Audi (34 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance.
