On Saturday, 21 May 2016, at night at 1:31, in Mažeikių district municipality, on Taikos street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra-B and an Audi A4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Opel (4 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She was drunk (1.76‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
