On Saturday, 21 May 2016, in the evening at 19:18, in Vilniaus district municipality, Nemėžio village, on V. Sirokomlės street near No. 41, an Audi A6 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
