On Saturday, 22 September 2018, at night at 23:40, in Vilniaus district municipality, Nemėžio village, on V. Sirokomlės street, at the junction with Baltarusių street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Golf (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance.
