On Wednesday, 25 May 2016, in the evening at 22:40, in Vilnius, on Žaliųjų Ežerų street near No. 138, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Kymco SH25 and a Subaru Legacy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Kymco (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
