On Thursday, 26 May 2016, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street, at the junction with Kreivoji street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Meriva and a Ford Transit FT 100. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Opel (19 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
