On Saturday, 11 June 2016, at night at around 2:00, in Kaunas, on K. Petrausko street, at the junction with Vydūno al., a Mini ONE ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Mini (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
