On Wednesday, 15 June 2016, in the afternoon at 12:20, in Vilnius, on Savanorių pr. near No. 56, a Renault Espace hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Renault (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
