On Wednesday, 22 June 2016, in the morning at around 10:00, in Vilnius, on Liepkalnio street near No. 110, an Opel Zafira - A hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 64-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
