On Tuesday, 5 July 2016, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Jakų village, on Jubiliejaus street, at the junction with Bajorų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania P 124 CB and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Scania (44 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
